area is flat but with one step between patio and grass which will also need to be worked on.

Hi,
I currently have a driveway and a front garden, which has been there since the age of the house. Ideally I would like a new driveway to across them both, so i have no more garden and enough space for 2 cars. There is a slight slope to get on the drive and a larger slope the other way down to the house which makes this very difficult to get most cars on the drive. (My nextdoor neighbours have reduced the gradient of their drives). I would like to be able to park bigger cars such as BMW's on the drive, so i would like to do a similar thing and try to reduce the gradient of the driveway.
I would imagine some sort of drainage is required. There is also a drain cover in the front garden.
I think I would prefer paving but am open to suggestions based on your recommendations.
Potentially I could drop the kerb and pay for planning of permission for this, but I would like to discuss this option with you.

I am looking to have a concrete path that is stepped (7/8 steps) replaced with one that builds up gradually with steps a metre or so apart. To allow easy access for a push chair as we are expecting twins.

The work will involve the removal of the original concrete path, relaying the concrete path and potentially a small retaining wall.
