I have a large damp patch on the corner mid stack of the downstairs chimney breast. It is slowly getting bigger and would like to find out the cause and cost of fixing problem.

Problem is damp where skirting board meets plaster at ground level in a bungalow bedroom (occurs most winters). Only 1 room is affected. Have had 2 air bricks fitted in an effort to reduce condensation/damp but to no avail. Area affected is approx 36" in length by 6 to 9" high and consists of green mould with fungus, together with discolouration of the plaster where it meets the skirting. This is a bungalow built in 1974 in good condition. A new roof was fitted last year, together with new soffits and fascias. We own the property outright.

The property is tenanted so access will be slightly difficult but outside can be viewed at any time. I think it is probably mould, but it needs sorting anyway. The property was built in the 60s or early 70s. Brick built with render.

I have a downstairs bathroom and the shower backs onto one conservatory wall which is exposed brick. We have damp on this wall and evidence of efflorescence. I'd like a quote on cost to fix this damp problem.

The floor near to my exterior wall at the back of the house sinks about 15mm when stood on. I think some of the joists may be rotting.

I have found one of the exterior walls to be damp, the building has had a damp proof course, also 1 of the bedrooms seems to have some damp, I unsure if it condensation of if it coming through the wall.
