I am looking for damp proof/re paint of bedroom 12x12ft. Low level cottage flat (1950's?) Grey/black light damp patches appear internally moslty on lower half of solid wall. Damp wipes off with a cloth, but obviously re appears. Problem has existed for many years.
No damp floor or ceiling level.
I am the property owner.

However, it appears that some portion of the treatment has failed/some portion has been missed. There is a line across a wall with bubbling and evidence of swollen 'shot' plaster. This appears to be at the join of brisk and plasterboard as the wall sounds different when you tap above able below the line of bubbling. Need a remedial fix and replaster.
