We're buying a house and have just received our Building Survey Report which has identified several instances of rising and penetrating damp.

The house was built in approximately 1900, a Victorian semi with 3 bedrooms, 2 reception rooms, bathroom and kitchen.

We'd like to get a quote for a survey and any remedial work that is required.

I have aproblem with damp on an inside wall, it has risen from the ground up to about 1.5meters.
On the walloutside the previous onwers have put a concrete layer over the bricks. I wondered if this is preventing the bricks from breathing and is sucking in the damp.
The House is a mid terrace victorian property
