We recently moved into property, there is some evidence of rising damp, also we believe that a chimney needs capping. The above issues are ones we have found ourselves but there may be more.

Ideally we would like as little mess created as possible from such a job i.e. no or hardly any replastering required but would want a high quality job done so the damp is reduced to nothing or very minor at the very least

kitchen floor has dropped an inch in a year, we think joist need replacing proably due to damp, we don't know if the damp is due to a leaking french door or coming through the walls. We had to have joist replaced 8years ago when we moved in and at the time though the problem was due to a leaking sink, which has since been moved.
