I’m currently in the process of buying a property in Ipswich , the mortgage lender had a valuation carried out on the property. Contained in the report was a concern about damp within the property “There is evidence of dampness to ground floor walls and timbers in contact may be defective. You should instruct a damp and timber treatment contractor to investigate the full extent and carry out necessary repair work”

I was hoping that you could provide me with a quote for a damp survey on the property.

We have a Bungalow 32 meters all around. We have been advised we have rising damp so will need this fixed. The walls inside will also need fixing with the standard cement/plaster protection.

The Bungalow is currently being renovated so you will have a full access without the worry of disturbing anything.

We would also like the standards guaranttees so we can prove this work was done once we come to sell the propertly.

Recently purchased a 3 bed end of terrace house. The mortgage survey showed damp on a couple of walls and signs of common furniture beetle on the floorboards. I need the work doing asap. Re plastering isnt essential and all the prep work can be carried out by myself.
