Diagnose damp problem, recommend solution
- Location: Uxbridge
- Hired: Bluesky Assist Ltd
- Trade: Damp Proofing

Job Description
Our downstairs bathrrom is damp down one end. Not sure if it is a structural damp problem or may be condensation. The toilet is there. There is an outside tap on the outside, so there are cold water pipes. Another potential cause could be a slow plumbing leak, but I think this is less likely. This is not a new problem.
We have a dehumidifier just outside the room, which has improved but not solved things. We want to re-do the bathroom, but need to make sure this issue is sorted first.
No problems with any other rooms.
We live in a mid terrace house built just over 100 years ago.
