Relocate light switch, electrical socket and TV aerial point. Insert transition strip between existing floor finishes. Dining Room - Erect 2.8m long x 2.2m high p'bd / stud to divide dining room, including cutting existing laminate flooring, new skirtings, new ceiling light and switch and new TV point. Relocate radiator and provide additional radiator.

I'd like quotes for some work. Ideally broken down into the following aspects as eventually I'm looking to convert a kitchen and dinning room into one room probably over several stages (depending on costs).

I'm assuming you will order and supply or source all materials included windows, doors and steel beams etc.

You need to be FENSA registered and a registered tradesperson e.g. Federation of Master Builders etc.

Ideally looking for one person/team to continue through to do the whole lot. Happy to provide photos and more info if needed.

a)

1 downstairs double window to French door conversion - I just want the window taken out, dropped to the floor line and French Doors put in (ideally with a cat flap). It will need a step constructed underneath it out side etc.

This will also require a radiator to be moved as it is currently under the window to be replaced. The floor is carpeted so can be removed if needed and I'd pay to get it refitted.

b)

Quotes for 3 upstairs (1 double window, 1 normal and 1 bathroom) and 1 downstairs windows to be replaced with uPVC windows.

c)

I have had a structural engineer look at the diving wall. 2 steel beams are required to support the load (I have the specs he drew up).

Ceiling, walls and floor sorted following removal of the wall.

Another radiator would need to be moved once the wall is down and an internal door is required.

Back door would need to be bricked up, boarded, plaster etc.

We are looking to get our garage converted. The rough size is 17ft x 8,1/2ft. It is attached to the house and next doors garage. One wall is full internal and the other wall is next doors garage. That wall has a brick pillar so we would like that making flush. We need a door knocking through from the hall. We need the garage door bricking up and a window putting in. Half of the garage ceiling is under a bedroom the other half has a flat roof. We would like a full width storage area to be made at the rear of the garage so it is flush with the protruding stairwell and fitted with a door. We do have the gas and electric metre in the garage and we are planning to leave them where they are and box them in. We will need a radiator putting under the window and plug sockets and a light putting in.

Thank you to all of the builders who have shown interest in my job. I am now just waiting for quotes to come in so we can make a decision on who to go with. Once we have made our choice then we will contact the builder to let them know (will click hire button). I have closed the job to other tradesmen as i already have 32 people interesed but i still want quotes from the people who have veiwed. Thanks
