Internal Structural Change to new Kitchen Location

We have an existing extension that wraps around the original external walls of the house. We are first looking to knock through parts of two of the old load bearing walls and adding RSJs to create an open-plan kitchen/diner in the existing space.

- New space will be approx 20ft x 20ft.
- We have necessary structural plans as required.

We are looking for a builder capable of removing a ground floor bearing wall and fit an rsj beam. The property is in St Albans city centre. The wall doesn't cover the full length of the room and therefore a support might be required to support the rsj beam on one side (I can provide a floorplan by email for better illustration).
