Opening to be plastered and prepared for frame to be fitted.
Plain MDF door (with handle) and frame to be fitted
Mess to be cleared up and rubble removed

Hi there
I would like to get my chimney stack that remains in my kitchen removed (part removed by previous owner).
The stack in the bedroom above will remain and will need to be supported by either a gallows bracket between the ground floor ciling and first floor floor or an RSJ or perhaps two. currently the first floor stack is suppoered by the wall you can see in the picture and sawn off joists in the second picture.

If a structural engineer needs to work out the size of RSJ this can be done either by your appointed engineer or i can find one if need be.
Building notice will need to be served so i can obtain the certificate.

Once the support is installed the random wall below can be removed.
I believe i will need to issue a partiy wall agreement.
no planning permission is required.
