Victorian chimneybreast was boarded out for use as a cupboard sometime in the 1970s. The void has since been plasterboarded over and the original fireplace has been reinstalled as a decorative feature - i.e. the chimneybreast is still boarded out behind. The fireplace needs to be returned to working condition.

Remove wooden chimneybreast lining, rebuild front of chimneybreast down to mantlepiece level - lintel required?
