I live in Hatfield, Herts in a terrace house.
About 2 years ago i had a new fire installed, chimney swept etc.
Recently a lot of 'brick dust' has been falling down my chimney into the front room.
I've had a look outside the front and back of the chimney, but cant see anything obvious.
Looking for someone to come round ASAP and have a look and check it out for me
Is this something you can do?
If so, roughly how much would i be charged for you to take a look?

Our fire is open on two sides we require one side closed off, will take 1 square metre of area to accomplish this. Then the chimney wall will need plastering from ground to 1.5m high this a central column so 3 sides will need this plastering. Total area of plaster 5 metres. Finally a fire surround installed to make it look good.
Work required to be completed within two weeks from this date.

Cap two chimney pots on rear addition of Victorian terraced house. Pots are both on same chimney. Chimney breast has been removed below so will not be in use. Cowels needed to allow ventilation but prevent rain coming in.

Please quote to supply and fit caps. I would prefer something that can't be seen from ground level.

Chimney on a two bedroom victorian house in Ware needs either repair or removal. At present chimney leans slightly towards house and there is a long standing crack in the chimney breast in the loft. Mortor in loft area is also starting to become powdery and needs repointing.

Work needed is either removal or repair of existing Chimney, and repointing of loft area and chimney breast. If deemed necessary removal of chimney breast in loft area could be good.

I think the chimney needs relining as when we light the fire we can smell smoke in the room above the fireplace and there is debris coming from the chimney
