We have an original victorian fireplace (slate surround, slate hearth and cast iron insert with tiles) which needs to be installed in our lounge room and for it to be used as an open fireplace (so not just for decoration purposes).
We currently have a fireplace in the lounge room and has been used in the past.

The job is for the following:

- remove existing fireplace (we will provide a skip)

- install original victorian fireplace.
It has been brought from a company who specialise in original fireplaces and we have been given the cement insert so it can be used as an open fireplace.
The slate hearth is in 3 parts so it can breathe when being used.
The slate surround is in 6 parts. e.g The mantel, 2 sides and 3 parts which go around the cast iron insert (under mantel / inbetween the sides)
The original victorian tiles are in a box, so need to be cemented in.

- once installed, make good around fireplace / ready for us to paint : as it is about 2cms shorter in height
