Today boiler was failing to fire up when the heating demand was triggered. Have checked the boiler and the heating pressure, and found that if I turned the boiler thermostat up to full I can get the boiler to fire up and the heating to come on. Boiler is in need of a service anyway, so would like someone to do a service and also check that the heating control system is functioning correctly.

Boiler is an ideal classic, the house is 7 years old.
