Our boiler has developed a fault it had previously - overheating the water and then running cold. These are identical symptoms which were cured when we had a new plate heat exchanger fitted. I would like the boiler to have a service and the plate heat exchanger either cleaned or replaced.

Hi I have a leak on a baxi duo tex combi 28 he which is only a few yrs old.

I've looked under the hood and it appears to be coming from the diverter valve and droplets of water are on the connection between the pressure sensor and the diverter valve unit.

This only appears during the day or overnight when boiler is off which tells me that the pressure when boiler is on is causing the leak to close up but when it cools then the pipes contract and it leaks.

I'm wondering if the fibre washer has broken slightly perhaps.
