I have a Glow worm micron 40ff boiler that's started to become a bit temperamental firing up. It seems to stutter and goes into an elaborate sequence to start, which works after a few minutes, and then is fine for the duration of the programme, but has the same problem again when it's next programmed to start. I haven’t had it serviced for a couple of years, so I'm hoping a service will sort it out, but obviously it may require additional work.

Our Atmos InterCombi HE32 gas boiler needs an annual service. Two issues with it at the moment.

1) It has recently started to be noisy at ignition when turning hot water on (sounds as if ignition is slightly too late).

2) It has an intermittent problem in terms of not returning to stand-by mode after the hot water has run. This will then prevent it from supplying heating. Problem resolves itself after anywhere between a few hours and a few days.

Have the full original installation manual. Boiler is about 4 years old.

Quote should include labour for the service and labour+materials for rectifying problem 1). For problem 2), it should include the labour for investigating the problem.
