We have just bought a new house with a combi boiler. As a matter of course, we would like someone to turn it on and service it, so we know it is in good condition.

The heating pipes in two areas of my flat are making constant loud expansion noises against the wooden floor boards and I would like this addressing, it also sounds like the pipes are full of bits and might need a good flush. The lounge floor boards are just under some easily lifted carpet/underlay. The problem will be the bathroom floorboards which are under interlocked laminate which will require the shower trap, bath and cabinet to be moved first. I have had previous work done to attempt to address this by replacing valves and radiators.

My old Valiant gas combi boiler is also deciding to gradually loose pressure every week or so, downstairs has not seen any evidence of a leak so the boiler must be releasing it. I am open to a secondary quote of replacing the boiler as it is very old.

My boiler requires a service as it has not had one in approx 3 years. It is a combi boiler from which powers the shower although there is a leak somewhere in the pipework. I wanted to enquire re a quote to fix a leaky radiator - it has got much worse over the course of last couple of months and has now started to cause surrounding damage to my carpet - I have tried to fix it with plumbers Mait but it just wont bond. I wondered if I could get an idea of price first if possible as I can't afford to be stuck with a huge invoice.
