I am about to move into a new flat and there are about 70m2 (2 bedrooms, living room, corridor and stairs) to cover with carpet. I know it is not a very detailed description but I would like to know what an approximate cost of fitting the carpet would be?
If you will be interested in taking the job there is another, identical flat situated in the same building wich needs floorcovering as well and the occupier will be happy to use your services as well.

I have fitted wardrobes going into my daughters room this morning (28.01). I have rolled back the existing carpet and underlay in preparation for the fitters to install the wardrobes. Once the wardrobes are fitted, I require a carpenter to come and make sure that the underlay and carpet are securely laid back correctly. Some of the carpet will require cutting up to the wardrobe and some more carpet grippers. It should be a fairly simply job really. The carpet and underlay are already laid. I live in the Hudderfield area at HD3 3PH and ideally I would like an evening appointment or I can do this Wednesday.

Wooden wardrode would need to be moved around whilst carpet being fitted as too large to get out of door. Would be emptied and would be 2 people available to move wardrobe around. Otherwise rest of furniture would be removed.

I have a 2 bedroom terraced house and have had a few walls re-plastered after damp proofing. The living room carpet (approx 3.5m x 3.5m) needs re-fitting (It is already cut - but one edge around the fireplace is now shortened - so may need the carpet stretching) - underlay is already laid. The grippers need re-fitting. The upstairs carpet has 1 edge which has been lifted, but also needs re-fitting against 1 wall (approx 3m in length). The underlay is in place already and the grippers will need re-fitting. Please can you tell me if you can do this for £20-£30. I have had 1 quote for £20 but would prefer someone reliable.

No removal / No extra materials required.
