Lounge: 4m30 x 3m70 (plus bay window)
hall: 2m30 x 1m40

Moving house afternoon Friday 17th from Bensham, Gateshead to Whitley Lodge estate, Whitley Bay.

Once old house empty need fitter to remove carpets and underlay from the 2 x reception rooms, 3 x bedrooms, 2 x flights stairs. Carpets then have to be refitted in new home wherever they can fit, with living room and dining room a priority.

I don't have exact dimensions of rooms but old house is standard two storey Tyneside flat-style maisonnette (with two medium-sixed bedrooms on top (2nd) floor) and new house is a typical 1960s semi.

Carpets must be removed from old house Friday afternoon, and refitting can be completed Friday afternoon/evening or Saturday morning.

Hello. I have a bathroom carpet which needs laying. It is only a small bathroom. There is one piece to lay approx 275cm x 180cm and another piece 120cm x 150cm. I am not sure whether to put an underlay down however we do have some underlay which we kept when we removed another carpet. The carpet backing looks like some kind of fibre backing, Please could someone give me a price to fit the carpet (and possibly the underlay). Also advice on whether to fit underlay would be good. Obviously the carpet will need fitting around the toilet/basin etc, Many thanks.

In terms of specific skills, just a professional, reliable carpet fitter at a reasonable price would be great. I have the carpet and have cleared the room - underlay is needed, I can either get this myself or leave it up to the fitter to purchase quality underlay and inlcude in the price.
