Itemised quote required to cut existing carpet and fit around a newly fitted bedroom wardrobe installation.

On 13th and 14th August, we are having fitted bedroom furniture installed in the main bedroom against one whole side of the room. The company has advised the furniture should not be installed on top of carpet. There is currently wall-to-wall carpet.

You will need to

(a) before installation date, remove the carpet from it's existing fit and roll back to allow the installers to install the product. If you think this can be done by us, please let me know.

If it's possible to "un-nail" the existing carpet grippers and re-use by bringing forward in front of the wardrobe, then good. If it's too much time and effort, the wardrobe height can be adjusted at the back over the carpet grippers and new carpet grippers can be laid in front of the wardrobe.

(b) after installation date, cut the carpet and fit in front of the newly installed wardrobe. Removal of old carpet.

If there are any special instructions for the furniture installers, please let me know.

The length of the wall is 3510mm and the carpet will need to be cut to accommodate wardrobe with width 682mm.

Please see plan attached where sketch shows the wardrobe will be fitted opposite the bed.

I am looking for a professional carpet fitter to lay felt backed carpet in two rooms, lounge and bedroom. The two rooms together are approx. 30 square meters. I have already laid the underlay and have the carpet grippers left over from the old carpet that has been pulled up so just need to have the carpet put down.

I also have a very small bathroom that I am thinking of putting some lino down and therefore if you are also able to cut and fit this too then please also let me know.

I am looking to have this done next week depending on when the carpet arrives.

2 carpets with felt backing need fitting in my front room and my bedroom.
Looking to get the carpet from ebay and a seperate fitter unless I can find somewhere else to get decent carpet from.
There are grips in the front room although if I am using felt back carpet it's ok not to have underlay?
The 2 rooms that need carpeting are currently just bare floorboards.
The front room has a chimney that juts out so the carpet will need to be cut to accommodate that. The bedroom is pretty much square though oddly has a sink in it so the carpet will need to be cut around that (I'm going to install an underthesink cupboard so it'll be an easy cut - I hope):)

no underlay or grippers required unless otherwise advised
Door strips possibly needed - need advice

Would like a quote for the price of fitting please and if you do have your own carpets too, I'd like to know some prices.

I'm on a tight budget so need cheap, hard wearing carpet - stain resistant polypropethene?
