Replacing a stair carpet which has been removed for decorating. The stairs are straight and there are 13 steps including the top step. All the old fixing strips remain in place.

I need carpet fitted on a straight run of 11 stairs, the bottom stair has rounded ends. I have the grippers, underlay and carpet. The grippers must be screwed not nailed to stairs.

I also need 5 doors timming as they are slightly too long with the new bedroom carpet fitted.

I need a small area of carpet that as been chewed by my dog repairing.

I think that it will require taking a part of the carpet from another area (perhaps the airing cupboard and and replacing the damaged area with it, so the join cant be seen.

Can anyone help?
