after having lpg gas central heating fitted 3 years ago, our floor boards in the bedrooms and landing creak terribly. It is getting progressively worse and its driving me insane. The boards in the one bedroom positively dip when you walk in and the wardrobe rattles. We had somebody look at them before and he said nothing could be done unless I had all new floorboards laid. I'm looking for someone to undertake a number of jobs on my loft to make it suitable for use as a storage space.

I'm in need of the existing hatch being replaced with a larger one, which will involve cutting through at least one of the ceiling joists and fitting headers.
I'd also like either a ladder or drop-down folding stairs to be fitted.
Some of the existing insulation will need to be reorganised and/or removed so that it fits between the joists.
The loft space itself is approximately 15' x 19' and I'd like the entire area to be boarded.

We are fitting our own kitchen to save money but are not comfortable cutting/fitting the laminate worktop and therefore need someone suitably experienced and tooled to do the job for us. To help you quote a firm price, there are two laminate boards to be joined in an L-shaped kitchen. We would like a scribed joint ( not sure of the technical term sorry) and holes cutting for a sink and hob. There is also a matching upstand board which needs one internal corner cutting and the whole thing fitted in alignment with the laminate worktop. There is approx 5.5m of worktop in total over the L-shape area.
