I need six door frames fitting to new build dormer bungalow as the existing ones were fitted incorrectly/wrong size. Frames are being provided. I also need eight doors hanging with furniture putting on. Doors and furniture again will be provided. There will be more work if this work is to an excellent standard e.g. skirting and stairs etc.

You must be able to provide proof of your qualifications and memberships and liability insurance. Qualifications must be in respect of carpentry and to at least NVQ level 3. A current CSCS card will be required.

Hi there, 6 or 7 joists have gone rotten at the external wall end, ground floor above a cellar. There is an RSJ halfway across the room so it may not be necessary to replace the full length of the joists. Gas and electricity services enter the house at this end so some care would be required to prevent damage, but otherwise the job is straightforward. House is being gutted so nothing awkward to work around.

I'd also like a second opinion on whether a new damp course needs to be injected.

Wardrobes needed to be built in around chimney breast. One, 610 wide x 1900 with shelves, plus storager space over (room height = 2450). Other space = 1700 x 1900 to be hanging space with storage over. Possibly join two spaces with narrow shoe storage space at lower level, say about waist height.

Also to lay laminate flooring, already purchased.

Hi, looking for a guide quotation for battening two rooms, each room is approx 3.5m x 3m, for affixing new plasterboard ceiling.

Current ceilings are approx 2.7m high but the lathe and plaster is in a bad state, so rather than plasterboarding over I'm considering lowering by the minimum amount possible for new plasterboard. So looking for a guide price for materials and labour.

If the price is OK I may do the hall and living room in the same way, these two rooms are slightly smaller.
