Re advertised due to circumstances and a nasty little man (who I gather was a college woodwork tuter) being brought to my door who rather than admit he was not up to the job proceeded to pick flies out of my kitchen in an nasty angry tone. Previous applicants need not apply!!

We need some one who is a REAL CHIPPY and is not afraid to work in an 1800's cottage. Some one who is experienced enough to fit worktops plinths infills and side pieces using new and reclaimed wood. Part of the worktops (which are all new) have been fitted the cutouts for sink and hob are done. In fact part of the kitchen is nearly finished. We need a sink taken out and one exactly the same to be refitted. None of this is rocket science all it needs is a genuine chippy with experience (proper experience not some who can only work with four square walls - howdens kitchens and new builds) We want a breakfast bar built. again out of new worktops.

We originally wanted the floor tiled but got sick of people coming through the door who instead of getting on with the job spent hours talking about the possible problems because the floor was uneven. So I (aged 65 and my partner aged over 60 are doing the job ourselves) Today it took us half hour to dig out the uneven section and put down a concrete base we will use self leveling compound to finish it ready for tiling because the so called experts are not up to the job.

So if you think you can buck the trend are a true and experienced chippy/trades person who is a worker not a shirker and wants to help give us and our lovely cottage the kitchen we deserve - we would love to hear from you.

Cut door to size by shaving a cm or 2 off the bottom. Router a thin strip in the door and fit intermisant strips. Replace door stop in frame. Hang door. Fit handle. Repeat for 4 more.

I have two internal doors that I have attempted to fit handles to but unfortunately I don't have the right tools to make the holes!
Would preferably like them hung asap.
