1. Framing work to extend current wall to the end of the hallway and create additional cupboard space (or can leave it void). Current length from the far wall to the partition (where sink and washing machine are) is 1290mm and to the end of the hall is 2370mm so would probably have to put 1080mm by about 1m partition framed all the way to the ceiling(which I believe is 12ft high).
2. Cover framework with plasterboard and finish same. At the same time the walls where I plan to remove tiles in the kitchen would have to have a skin of plaster added to restore to good condition.
3. Lay new flooring in total open plan area, previously about 46 sq m living room and halls and 6.3 sq m for the kitchen. So total floor area is 53 sq m. Also install new skirting at the same time.
4. In the kitchen I am looking to take out the integrated fridge and freezer from their current position and putting a new tall unit in the corner (600mm), this would involve buying a new 600mm base unit and moving the existing one. In addition a new sink unit is needed as the current one has seen better days. Add new worktops which would have to be cut for sink and hob and fitted. Also add new unit and corner unit along the new wall next to sink/washing machine.
5. Of course I will be fitting replacement doors to all the units to smarten up the kitchen.
