Large allotment (10 perch), soil hard, uneven and covered in grass (with some old roots still in). Plot is partially cultivated (maybe a fifth or a quarter) but the remainder is too big for my husband and I to dig over by spade quickly enough to get on top of the plot and start growing. Job involves tidying up a garage conversion done by the previous owner. Large upvc window installed but surround finished in plastic panels slotted together. Have ripped this off so breezeblocks showing, need plasterboards put up above and below as well as new windowsill inside.
