A full quotation is required for a variety of works relating to an insurance claim for a leaking water pipe in the concrete floor of a 1960's/70's kitchen extension.

The pipework in question runs from the kitchen sink to a downstairs toilet (approx 5 metres in length) under the kitchen floor. The cold water supply has been capped and isolated but damage to the area surrounding the pipe (including concrete floor and wall plaster) and damage caused by repair works (including kitchen fittings) needs to be undertaken.

Our insurance company is seeking a full scope of works and budget/quotation for this work which may include the following:

- Drying out saturated concrete slab and plaster walls (urgent)
- Removal and appropriate re-installation of water pipes to current standards. Preferably fully ducted.
- Repairs to concrete floor
- Partial (or possibly full) replacement of floor tiles
- Removal and replacement of saturated plaster
- If required, partial or full removal and replacement of all kitchen furniture and fittings (including kitchen units, wall tiles, appliances etc) - This is dependent on the level of damage caused by removal and replacement of pipework and wall plaster. Replacement kitchen (if required) may need to be udner a separate contract.
- Any other repairs or associated refurbishment work as required

There may also an opportunity to quote for a number of other outstanding jobs that we need to undertake.

I require an RSJ fitted between my dining room and kitchen, the kitchen is an extension so this wall is the original outside wall, it already has 2 openings so there's not a lot of brick work left however I require the Lintel to be fitted the whole length of the wall which is about 10ft. I am happy to remove the bricks myself once the steel is placed (if this makes things a bit cheaper) I would like someone experienced in this field who is covered by the relevant insurance I understand this type of job doesn't take to long so if anyone who does this kind of work can offer a day rate that would be great thanks Pam
