Our house is about 20 years old. The top 7 or so rows of bricks in our chimney are badly weathered/ damaged by frost on the eastern side in particular. The bricks are shedding bits and pieces on a regular basis and some of the bricks look to have lost up to an inch of their depth. The damaged rows either needs repairing or possibly replacing if the damage is too bad. We are ideally looking for a tradesman who already has the means to get up to the height required as hiring scaffolding will make the cost too high.

I require a gym in my garage, however, its too cold in its current condition. I require my modern single garage boarding out and insulating. This must include the ceiling being boarded out with insulation, lighting and loft hatch.
So I can avoid planning permission, I wish to leave the garage door how it is and place false wall behind.
