Brick up 3'x3' window opening single skin.
- Location: Bracknell
- Hired: CTPBuilders

The window is at the back of a church hall and obscured from light by a building behind, so it is going to be bricked up. The hall construction is timber framed with a single outer skin of brick. The existing window needs to be removed along with the outer frame and the opening bricked up with a single skin. The bricks are red but matching them is not critical as the window space is never seen.
No making good is required on the inside (framing/plastering etc) this will be done later.
Cosmetic Brick work at front of house
- Location: Windsor
- Hired: Nelly's constructions
- Trade: Bricklaying
- Positive feedback on 30th Jan 13
Job Description
Hi
We live in central windsor in a victorian terrace, at some point the downstairs window in the front of the house was wider than it is now, when the window went back to the original size the gap was bricked up. We have lived with it for some time but want to get it looking right as we plan to sell early this year.
I think its about 20 bricks to take out and lay new ones (I have some new old stock bricks) and there is some render work to be done up to the window edge.
Hopefully the cold weather makes this still possible
