I have a garage at the end of my garden which is remote from the house, it already has a new side door and new window but the wooden doors no longer open and the driveway to the rear of the houses is inaccessible so I want to have these wooden doors taken down (and removed from site) and the doorway to be blocked in with bricks / breeze blocks and cement. Access to the area is via my covered side entrance which is standard door width - there is no rear access. The floor is already concreted and the walls bricked and there is a wooden lintel. The rough dimensions of the open doorway would be 7 foot square. I am keen for this job to be completed soon and am flexible on timing. In addition there is a crack in the concrete floor which requires filling (max 2 inches wide and 15 foot long) - and a few other gaps around the outside of the garage and a hole under my sink and under my stairs whilst there is concrete on the go - I am happy for these jobs to be done at the same time and appreciate that these may have to be addressed/quoted for separately. Price to include materials and removal of doors too, hence happy for (in fact prefer) contact to be made with me for viewing the work required.

I have a small one bedroomed 'cottage' in Netherton, which I rent out. It is over a 100 years old and needs a lot of TLC, mainly all revolving around stopping the damp getting through. The job I'm looking for is pointing to the front and side of the property. The issue I have is that I now live in the Forest of Dean and work in Bristol so cannot always be present.

This also means that I would love to build a strong, trusting relationship with a builder as there are other jobs that will need doing. (when this tenant leaves, I think a few of the rooms will need some kind of damp proofing.

We're looking for a reliable tradesman to rebuild the supporting wall for the floor joists. This runs from the front of the house to the back, and is probably about 8m in length, not too sure on the depth, but the exisitng wall is about 5 bricks high. We've a concrete base to the house. It will probably need a more expert eye than mine to properly asses the job for materials and labour!

We do have a few jobs to do, we've just got to get to them all, so hopefully looking for someone we can give these jobs to in the future.
