The roof is fitted with slate tiles,
Chimney breast is approx 1mx1m to the rear of the property,

Currently selling the house and a valuation survey has identified that in the medium term the rear chimney sack will need repointing and there may be one or two loose tile which need attention. I have agreed to undertake this work and I am looking to get a quotation for this work to be completed and resolve this ASAP so I can progress with my sale.

I also have a coal suit to the front of my property which goes into the cellar. There is currently a metal cover over this (not attached) but we have been advised ventilation should be improved. We want to simply add three air bricks to provide air flow and place a slab over the void to shelter rain entering the cellar. A quick, easy job that I could potentially complete, but if this is something you could also do I would also be interested if you could give me a cost for this work also to speed up the process.

You will only need to do tHe work on the half of the chimney stack we are responsible for as this is a shared stack in a row of terraced properties.

Hi,

I've just exposed the brickwork under my bay window. All of the 'angle' bricks need replacing as well as the odd complete brick. The area also then needs repointing.
