I have 2 external brick walls at my home which I would like re-pointed and hopefully with the same colour of cement. My house is an end terrace which has harling which covers most of the external walls except for a section at the bottom (this is the brick sections).

At the front around 8 bricks could do with being re-pointed around each edge. At the back, I would say around 5 bricks could do with re-pointing around each edge. I think has happened when drilling was being done for new central heating and I would like to have the walls sealed for the winter coming in. It's not a massive job, but it's one I would like done and I hope has been explained properly!

Replace the pointing around one sash and case wooden windows and assess if there is any damage to the same of the other two windows. The windows are of victorian bay window size and the house is of sandstone construction cira 1890.

Water appears to be getting in above the wooden window frame where you can also see the pointing looks damaged. This does seem to be caused by a guttering problem but this is being dealt with jointly between the upstairs neighbour and myself.

I would like this work done within the next two - three weeks. I do not know if I need a stonemason or window fitting person? I do know I would want any repair to be in keeping with the period and look of the property.
