We currently have a 1 skin 6" block built wall that is 6" high and over 30" wide. It is supporting soil behind the wall, however its been over a year now and the wall is moving away from the soil, and has moved approx 3 or 4 inches. I think it has mainly been down to the fact that the other company didn't use damp-proofing or drainage and also down to the footings as well, I think.

My property is 1989 construction external brickwork being Tudor Stone. I have a patio door which needs bricking up half way (and plastering on the inside, because a window company are coming to fit a window in its place (the are that will need bricking up is approximately 6ft wide x 4ft high.

I also have a window approximately 4ft wide which needs cutting out all the way down to the floor where a new door is to be fitted.

Rebuild 5mtrs of 75cm 9in wall demolished by veh collision. Brick is Newhey (Accrington type) Imperial which I will clean of old morter. 1.5mtr of wall is behind a BT street cab. and a hedge behind the wall. Would like job done asap (before cold weather)
