Remove about 10 affected bricks near the bottom of the gable end wall next to the drive. Replace them with matching bricks. The house was built by Maunders in 1983. In addition, I would like to know what caused the spalling and what steps can be taken to stop the problem from reccurring. From a little investigation it would appear that applying liquids is not recommended, so any other advice would be appreciated. The job can start ASAP
