I have a low garden wall, double faced (with neighbour) approx. 3030mm (14.5 bricks) long and

7 bricks in height, which has been destroyed by the freezing weather over the past 3 winters

and needs knocking down and replacing.

There are 174 bricks in the two faces, with a row of 43 top bricks. I'd like to replace the facing bricks with similar type to front walls (different type and colour), and the top row with double bullnose type (plus curved top end brick?), and ensure waterproofing added to mortar.

There is an existing iron fence which penetrates the wall top in two places which I'd like to

retain.

Where the wall butts up against the house, a small piece of damp barrier would need fitting.

I have started to build a retaining wall at the bottom of our garden but have hurt my hands. The foundation is done, just need breeze blocks laying. Its approx. 8 m long with corners at each end and a stabalizing pillar in the middle. I have the breeze blocks, cement (x 7 bags) & sand (1 ton bag), but no mixer. It is down in a brook but ive diverted the water so in wellies it might reach your toe. It needs lifting approx. 1.4m
