I have an Edwardian terrace (circa 1905) single skin bricks. There are big gaps in the mortar on some of the lower bricks and I suspect this is causing damp which we are seeing on the inner walls. I would not expect this to be a big job as less than a dozen bricks are affected and no ladder needed.
