I'm after 2 quotes (1 will need to be written up at some stage as it's being paid for by Eon/Powergen) for some repointing around my house and replacing damaged and missing bricks.

Job 1 (to be paid for by Eon) is for bricks to be cut to size and cemented in place around a flue pipe. The flue had to be removed a couple of weeks ago and Eon have admitted the mess left by one of their engineers isn't acceptable.

Job 2 - I've taken a few pictures to for you to see what is required. Dotted around my house the brickwork and mortar are in need of raking out and repointing.
A few of the low level bricks around the DPC are damaged and the lumps of cement around the external window frames and doors are loose (they can literally be pulled out in places!) so again I'd like bricks to be cut to size and cemented in place.
A small wall outside out front wall also needs repointing and at least 2 bricks (the end 2) will be needed as 1 is missing and 1 is broken.

Quantity to lay i total now around 1,000.

Please provide a quote to lay approx 1800 bricks, 300 concrete blocks and 550 thermalite blocks.

The build consists of a single storey side and rear extension built off trench foundations with 3 courses of blockwork from foundation to DPC.

Labour quote to include;

Installing two catnics (1200mm & 3600mm span), brick ties, wall starters, cavity insulation slabs and DPC

Materials supplied by myself;
bricks/blocks/sand/cement

Traditional scaffold available on site if required

Materials located within 15 metres of building.

The foundations are currently scheduled to be poured on 18th September. The blockwork to DPC will need to be done 21st-23rd September. Above DPC to be done during first two weeks in October.

The job can be viewed and priced any time after 4:30pm Mon-Fri and most weekends.

Install two 2200mm long 178x102x19kg beams above a kitchen window, resting on 210x140x100mm padstones bedded in the 9 inch solid brick wall.
The window and wall under the beam will be removed at a later date.
The beams will be supplied including bolts and spacer tubes.
All to the satisfaction of the local building control officer.

All materials supplied. The brickwork and window below the beam do not need to be removed.
Structural calcs and building regs have been approved.

A previous builder who was lined up for this job has had to stop due to personnal reasons.

I NEED THIS DOING ASAP AS IT IS HOLDING UP PROGRESS WITH THE REST OF THE HOUSE (ie, done by 22nd July)
Weekend working is fine.

I can help lift the beam and labour for someone working on their own.
