I was looking for a quotation to fit the following for our small bathroom - we are the owners of the property and the bathroom measures 174cm x 163cm.

We are looking to have the following work carried out.
New toilet fitted
New Basin Sink fitted
Reseal the bath
Regrout the tiles around the bath
New lino or laminate flooring for the bathroom

We are not changing the plumbing configuration, simply replacing worn sink & toilet.

We havent' purchased the products as yet, wanted to speak with someone before proceeding.

Job Description

Complete refit of small bathroom (74" by 57" at smallest points) in Danderhall. Currently has small tub, electric shower, sink, toilet, heater, extractor fan, small window, laminate floor and tiled walls, several broken. We'd like a complete refit including tiles on floor and walls, installation of a shower stall instead of the tub, slimline sink w. storage, new toilet (or at least some replaced parts) as well. In addition, we'd like to consider installing a small heated towel rack, a mirror on one wall, some additional medicine cabinet type storage, a new extractor fan and replacing the cumbersome normal door with a sliding door to save on space.

We're quite flexible on our specific ideas, and would like to plan the installation with our chosen contractor.

We have a very stiff water control knob on a shower that needs to be serviced or replaced, I guess. We also have a non-standard shape and size shower tray that we would like replaced. An lastly, we need to have the central heating serviced. Can you help with any/all of these please?

Fitting new bathroom (sink, toilet, bath and shower). It is a small bathroom in an old Edinburgh tenement building. Some time ago we had an old water tank removed and the upper bit of the bathroom needs to be tidied up - the pipes and electricity. Also we are looking into getting shower from the main water supply heated up by a boiler rather than electric shower that we are using at the moment. The job would also include doing some plastering and tiling the area around the bath, sink and possibly the floor. I'm looking for some quotes and advice.

I'm open to suggestion but it's pretty much that I'm after.

Not looking for top-op-the-range, just a nice looking, clean, comfortable shower that I will enjoy every morning and I'm not a fan of it right now.

In should be a very easy job. Tiling, fitting a shower, replacing a toilet. Should take no time at all. In and out in a day and I'll pay CC transfer on in cash as soon as it's done.

My electric shower is dead. I think it burned out, or maybe the fuse has gone. This might be because it's simply old (over 15yrs) or perhaps due lower water pressure thanks to the downstairs neighbour.

Would like to fix the shower or to swap like for like or, after discussion, a slightly more powerful shower with a wider shower head.

After discussing cost, I would consider replacing shower curtain with a screen, but this is not essential

Disconnect and lay aside the existing shower door and the shower unit. Remove cracked tiles and check boarding behind the tiles for signs of water damage. Fit three sheets of shower boarding onto the walls. Re-fix the shower unit to new boarding. Re-fix the existing shower door, make good of any joints with white silicone sealer.
