Job Description
Instruct structual engineer to carry out calculations for structural steel works to rear kitchen wall & existing living room wall. Knock out wall as per instructions & supply & fit as per structural calculations. Take out rear patio doors, rear door & window combination and small kitchen window. Supply & fit new double glazed window and multifold doors in white UPV-C. Knock down exisisting kitchen, remove all debris. Install New kitchen and appliances. Knock down cupboard underneath stairs in hallway. Install new suite to downstairs cloakroom. Kitchen, Dining Room, Lounge, Hall to be skim finished plaster. Existing fire place in dining room to be knocked down and Log burner fire installed. Electrics to include downlighters in kitchen and other lighting in to be discussed. Supply and fit internal floors and surround, 3 wooden doors and 2 glass doors that connect from Living room to dining room. Floor boards in hallway to be exposed and polished if in good condition. Tiled flooring to be installed in kitchen. Quote to include decoration, emulsion & gloss finished. Quote to include breakdown of kitchen units together with appliances.

Dale and his team undertook a complete refurbishment of our downstairs, stairs and landing including a new kitchen, new flooring, removing a wall and altering two others. We are absolutely delighted with the end result. Probably the best compliment that can be paid is that the end result exceeded even our own high expectations.
Having everyone from builders and electricians to plasterers and painters in your home for several weeks on such a big job can be a strain, but Dale and his team were all such a pleasure to deal with and everything was done so considerately that it was painless.
Dale is also full of great ideas for ways to improve the house. His input was invaluable and we still look at many aspects of the job and feel glad we listened to him. Dale treated the job as though he was working on his own home and was never happy unless we were.
Tash was also a pleasure to deal with, always available to discuss matters and working tirelessly on our behalf to source materials etc. at the best possible price. In particular we gave her a photo of the bi-folding doors we wanted and she went out and got them made on budget. When it came to the Kitchen, Tash promised us she would get us one we loved on budget and again she delivered.
Just the upstairs to do now and we will get Dale, Tash and the rest of the team back without hesitation. - louise_edmonds 15th Jun, 2010
