Job Description
The pump on by domestic central heating boiler (Old Ideal Standard E type) needs to be changed. It only starts in the morning after a few knocks with a hammer.
I think it is a Myson Compact CP53 pump but I'm not sure. I have pictures showing the plumbing layout that I can email.
* The following information was added Friday, 8th January, 2010 :
I believe the central heating system would need to be drained as the gate valves to the pump have not been opened for at least 28 years.
I have since acquired a WarmFront £300 Heating Rebate Voucher. I would like to use this as payment. I would like to hear from plumbers registered with Warmfront willing to do the job.

James is a very pleasant, personable fellow. He came to change a water pump in my boiler but the gate valves were so old that they needed replacing. He had to drain the system and install new gate valves as well as the pump. He appeared very conscientious throughout and I was very pleased and would recommend him to anyone.
