Repairing leaking radiator connections - Central Heating job in Leeds, West Yorkshire

i have 2 radiators down stairs, the connections always leak, its an old downward system i belive its called, copper pipes running from the ceilng down to the radiators on the lower level, the old copper pipe only needs to be knocked and then it leaks, i want the radiator connections reparing or replacing and if possible cut off the copper pipe at floor height and connect up with flexi hose.
