New radiator added onto existing system - Plumbing job in Epping, Essex

Job description

We had a new combi-boiler, column rads and all pipe work fitted to our house 2 years ago. We now want to add a new column radiator to our conservatory and join into this existing system.

The new column radiator is 1200mm long by 600mm high and would need to be fixed onto the centre of our brick conservatory dwarf wall which is 2700mm long by 650mm high (i.e. only a 50mm space under rad to floor).

Ideally, we would have liked all the pipe work hidden, but with a newly laid titled floor in the conservatory, this is impossible, so the pipework which will need to be in chrome MUST be neatly run from the rad, along the conservatory wall back towards the house, probably above the skirting board, but open to suggestions. (i.e. we want it as invisible as possible, and any pipe work showing MUST be neat!)

Once the pipe work runs back to the house/conservatory wall and comes through into the house to join the existing system, it would need to go straight down under the floorboards. But we need it to not be visible where it comes into the house (i.e. channeled into the wall going down under the floorboards).

We will supply the column radiator and the rad valves, but need you to include all other materials in your price, including 2 pairs of isolator valves (4 in total) one pair under the rad and the other pair where the pipe work will join the existing pipe work, thus allowing us to be able to isolate the rad in the conservatory for building reg purposes.

We are looking to have this work undertaken asap, and we are looking for a quotation from qualified plumbers only - the chosen plumber will then be invited in to see the job before giving a fixed price.

Feedback for James Gas Services

I can't recommend James enough. He was friendly and explained all the options available to us, and kept us up to date with his progress.

Being a designer, I am over fussy with detail - James pipework was very neat and tidy and he left no mess. I will be getting James back to service our boiler. A++
