Job Description
I've recently noticed damp patches around a closed chimney breast which I think may improve if the chimney is capped. I'm looking to have this done as soon as safely possible (weather permitting). The chimney stack stands about 2m high above the first floor roof which is flat. The chimney pots may be loose so may need removing. Not looking to replace the pots. From what I've read on this site and others the cap will need a vent to really have any impact on the damp situation.

Danny provided a reasonable quote for this work and along with George did a good job quickly. Cleaned up after the work and took away all debris. Thanks very much for a job well done.
Luckily I had the day off and it didn't annoy me that he arrived late - could've been different on another day or another client. Nevertheless I'll definitely hire Danny & George again - will remind them to be on time though.
