Quotations in advance of repairs (on insurance):
Looking for someone to assess damage caused by water escape from upstairs bath waste, which came through the ceiling in the small kitchen below, and quote for making good. Leak has been put right in bathroom, damage in kitchen that I'm already aware of:
Hole in one part of kitchen ceiling
Damage to wider area of ceiling material and separation of Artex (quite happy for it to be replaced by plaster finish!)
Damage to wood effect laminate flooring
Some sign of water at bottom of one area of wall?
Leak appears to be well away from any of the electrical installation, and isolated to the one area.

I had a flood in my property 4 days after I moved in, and 3 days before Christmas. Tim and his team are everything you could ask for in a building firm: organised, prompt, efficient, professional and everyone that worked on the repairs did an excellent job. They cleaned up thoroughly after themselves, and I have been left with a kitchen that looks better than it did even before the ceiling came down!
I cannot recommend them highly enough.
