Job Description
Current builders have erected a new timber and plyboard chimney breast on 2nd floor of 3 floor mansion flat. Fireplace and inserts have been ordered. Required job is to construct and install a flue, to run from new chimney breast on second floor, up through ceiling, up through eaves section on third floor, and vented out through slate roof above.

My job was to install a fireplace, including the build of a new fire breast and flue system. I invited two fireplace tradesman to discuss the job, both came up with very complicated and expensive systems that would have been difficult to implement. I then found Courtney on mybuilder and invited him to look at the job. Within minutes of being on site he pointed out a simple and elegant solution and made some observations about the previous fireplace that the other tradesman had missed. In short, Courtney demonstrated straight away that he really knew what he was talking about.
Once hired, the work was then done quickly, competently, and to a high standard.
Overall i was very pleased with the job, and very happy i found Courtney to do it as the other tradesman who quoted would have made a real mess of things.
