Job Description
rear single storey extension 2.5m x 3.5m with sloping roof. I basically require the shell to be built I will deal with everything else. I will dig foundations then require the builder to lay foundation,concrete floor. Build brick and block walls, install new backdoor and window, connect to existing under floor drain for sink and fit concrete tile roof. I will deal with all electrics,plumbung and plastering. The work will begin in July.

Although Adrian is a nice guy his work is always rushed which causes errors. The pitch of the roof on my extension was altered as he had cut all the wood short due to starting at the wrong place. He ordered a back door that was too large and hadn't even checked the opening he was building. When he got a new back door he fitted the glass wrong which meant removing and refitting which caused damage around the glass opening. He reduced the price £130.00 so that he didn't have to finish the floor. I'm still waiting for hinge covers and guarantees for doors and windows but won't hold my breath. All in all if he worked a full day at a reasonable speed rather than finishing at early afternoon at full speed his work could be acceptable.

I find this customers comments quite unbelievable and tedious.
If work was not acceptable why was I paid fully, everything passed by the council and not given negative feedback? He also waited a month since completion of the work to leave comments?
Back door size was a manufacturers mistake – I have been reimbursed
Job was on contract basis and completed within timescale
Floor was complete – I was asked to self level but unable to do so due to other commitments.
From the start this customer tried to get money knocked off the price as much as possible, and I believe he has left these comments because I was unable to reduce the price any further. Also did extra work without charge
I could say more but not enough space!
