Job Description
Steps to my front door made out of a particulate "stone" are badly stained and crumbling. I have new stone from Chiltern Concrete & Stone being delivered soon, so the old ones need to be taken up and replaced with the new ones. The new stones are exactly the same shape as the old, so minimal cutting (possibly none) will be required for the steps, but there is a flat area that will require cutting of square stone slabs. I believe the foundation under the steps to be in good shape -- the steps don't appear to have shifted or cracked, but rather simply haven't weathered well.
The individual stone steps range from 280x330x76 to 1540x330x76, and there are 16 of them. Additionally there are 12 640x640 paving slabs that will need to be cut to fit. I can provide photos and a drawing to any interested parties -- send me an email address.

Jeff was one of the few builders who came round to look at the job in advance of quoting, therefore I felt his quote would be accurate and appropriate. He did a good, neat job, taking care with the details, and was reliable and agreeable throughout.
