The back garden on my small terraced house currently comprises a sloping, uneven paved path to the back gate and a level area filled with earth and gravel. The flat area was planted but nothing grows there, though there are mature shrubs around the edge. I'd like to keep the shrubs, but want a better solution to the rest which is tidy, safe and usable.
Total area about 3m x 4m.
